Twenty years of getting people there
Saify Travels was established in 2004 as a sister company of Saify Iron (Pvt) Ltd, and holds Government Licence G.L. # 2145. What started as a small operation arranging Umrah for families in our own community has grown into one of Karachi’s established names for religious and leisure travel.
We have never tried to be the cheapest agency in the city. What we have tried to be is the one that turns up. When a flight is rescheduled at midnight, when a hotel has lost a booking, when an elderly traveller cannot manage the walk from the hotel to the Haram — those are the moments that decide whether a trip is remembered fondly, and they are the moments we built the business around.
What we actually do
Roughly two-thirds of what we sell is religious travel: escorted Umrah groups to Makkah and Madinah, and Ziyarat departures to Karbala, Najaf, Kadhimain and Samarra, with extended itineraries taking in Shaam and Jordan. The remaining third is holidays — Egypt, Tunisia, Türkiye, Thailand, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Dubai and Azerbaijan — plus domestic tours through the northern areas of Pakistan.
Alongside packages we handle air ticketing, visa processing, hotel bookings and corporate travel for a number of Karachi businesses.
Why a licence matters
Travel is one of the few things people routinely pay for months before they receive it. That makes it an easy business for the wrong sort of operator. A government licence, a permanent office you can walk into, a receipt for every payment and a company that has been trading under the same name since 2004 are not marketing points — they are the minimum you should ask of anyone holding your money.

None of this is complicated. It is simply what we would want if we were the ones paying.
Pakistan tours with Dil Dil Pakistan
Our domestic programme is operated jointly with Dil Dil Pakistan Tours. They bring the coaches, the drivers and the ground knowledge of the northern areas; we bring the booking, the payments and the group leadership.
It is a division of labour that works. Their drivers have been on the Karakoram Highway in every kind of weather, and their hotel relationships in Hunza and Skardu get our groups rooms in seasons when others are turned away.
