Hunza in June is the trip most people in Karachi have been meaning to take for years. Ten days, nine nights, by executive coach — Gilgit, Karimabad, Attabad Lake, Passu, and the jeep track up to the blue lakes at Naltar.
Operated with Dil Dil Pakistan Tours. Transport, hotels, breakfast and dinner, a guide, a bonfire evening and the jeep rides are all in the price, so the only decisions left are how early to get up for Eagle’s Nest and whether to do the rafting.

Day-by-day itinerary
Depart by executive coach. Overnight travel with scheduled rest stops.
Arrive Gilgit, check in and rest — altitude takes a day to settle into.
Overnight: Gilgit
Up the Karakoram Highway to Karimabad. Baltit Fort and the view over the valley in the late afternoon.
Overnight: Hunza
Attabad Lake with boating, then on towards Passu and the Cathedral peaks. Zipline and optional water activities.
Overnight: Hunza
Eagle’s Nest at sunrise for those who want it, and the rest of the day free in Karimabad.
Overnight: Hunza
Jeep track up to Naltar and its blue lakes — the roughest and best day of the trip.
Overnight: Gilgit
Adventure day with water rafting and parasailing for those who want them, and a bonfire with the group in the evening.
Overnight: Gilgit
Begin the journey south by coach, with an overnight stop.
Arrive back with the group.

No. Rafting, parasailing and the zipline are all optional — plenty of people sit them out and enjoy the valley instead.
Not especially. The itinerary is coach-based with short walks. The jeep tracks are bumpy rather than strenuous. Anyone who can manage a long road journey will be fine.
Layers. June days in Hunza are pleasant but the mornings and evenings are cold, and Naltar is colder still. Bring a warm jacket, comfortable walking shoes and sunblock — the sun at altitude is stronger than it feels.
